This Privacy Policy explains how SellixStyle handles information when you use the SellixStyle website and the SellixStyle Link Generator Chrome extension.

1. Information the Chrome extension uses

The SellixStyle Link Generator may process the following information when you use it:

• Authentication information: a SellixStyle extension token used to connect the extension to an approved creator account.
• Current product-page information: the active product page URL, product title, and product image needed to create and display a SellixStyle product link and preview.

2. How the information is used

We use this information only to provide the extension's core functionality, including:

• verifying the creator's SellixStyle account;
• detecting the product currently open in the browser;
• creating a SellixStyle tracked product link;
• displaying the product title and image in the extension; and
• copying the generated SellixStyle link for the creator.

3. Browser storage

The extension may store the creator's SellixStyle extension token and limited extension preferences in Chrome's local extension storage so the creator does not need to reconnect the extension every time it is opened.

4. Website and browsing activity

The extension does not collect a user's general browsing history, keystrokes, mouse movements, private messages, health information, financial information, or precise location. Product-page information is read only from the active page when the user opens or uses the extension for link generation.

5. Data sharing

SellixStyle does not sell personal user data. Information is not used or transferred for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose. Data may be processed by service providers or affiliate-network partners only where necessary to operate SellixStyle, generate tracked links, measure affiliate activity, prevent abuse, or comply with legal requirements.

6. Affiliate tracking

SellixStyle links may use affiliate tracking technology. When a generated SellixStyle link is clicked, tracking parameters may be sent to the relevant affiliate network and retailer so clicks, qualifying purchases, commissions, and creator attribution can be measured.

7. Data security

SellixStyle uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Data retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate SellixStyle, maintain creator accounts and link records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud or abuse.

9. Children's privacy

SellixStyle is not intended for children under the age required to enter into binding commercial agreements in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly design the extension to collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
